FAQ

  • Capacity & Options

We have 2 buses: the skoolie (16 guest max), and Semi Toasted (34 guest max).

On Semi Toasted, customers can purchase 1 ticket, 34 tickets, or any amount in between. It is open seating. For parties of 25 or more, we consider the Semi fully booked and will close booking. We arranged seating on the Semi in such a way as to encourage interaction, but the tables are separated from each other so there is a small degree of separation for groups wanting to sit separately. The skoolie can accommodate fully private groups between 8-16 only. Inquire for details.

  • Wineries

We have agreements for custom accommodations at 8 handpicked wineries: Lorenzi Estates, Peltzer Winery, Doffo, Vitagliano, Masia De La Vinya, Danza Del Sol, Leoness, and Somerset. The itinerary is determined based on availability, geography, date, and several other logistics factors. Over time we will rotate between these wineries.

  • Pricing

The tour rate is per seat (per person). An 8% tax may be applied in some cases for sales tax and transportation taxes/fees specific to CA. Each tour is scheduled for approximately 4 hours from pickup to drop off, but note this can extend up to 5 hours and often does. Each ticket includes 3 wine tastings (or bottle service in some cases on private tours, depending on day/time and winery policy), optional charcuterie or sandwiches may be added. Pickup time is approximately 10:30AM at Vail Headquarters, in the rear of the property by Vail Pizzeria. Drop-off is approximately 2:30PM-3:00PM. For sunset tours, pickup is 3:30PM and drop off is approximately 7:30PM.

  • Reservations & Payments

Most tickets will be fully paid for when booking on the website. For groups of 6 or more, you have the option to reserve for the party with a $500 reservation deposit and a separate invoice to remit a single payment for all guests. If you would like this option, please inquire through text or email. We accept Zelle or Venmo for invoicing. Please do not send payment until invoice has been sent.

  • Pickup and Dropoff

By default, pickup is at Vail Headquarters, behind Vail Pizzeria (32115 Temecula Pkwy, Temecula, CA 92592). On busy days, we may pickup 50-100 meters east of Vail Pizzeria in the adjacent parking lot. We will still be visible from Vail Pizzeria.

If you have a group and have booked the Skoolie, pickup within Temecula city limits (except for the De Luz area to the west of the 15 freeway) is available. We can usually pick you up at your Airbnb, etc.

  • Cancellations and No Shows

Customers can cancel for any reason for a full refund up until 72 hours prior to service. Any cancellation after this point is considered a no-show and the customer may receive a credit (no expiration) redeemable at any time but will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Gratuity

We automatically pay gratuity at some wineries on our groups behalf . However, for ticket tastings we may not cover gratuity since we do not know who will serve you at the counter and we ask you tip at your discretion.

If I (Kevin) am not driving we ask you cover gratuity for the driver. I won’t decline a tip (I have secret tool fund Kayla doesn’t know about 😉) but I want to avoid guests feeling pressured and a tip is a generous gesture but not something I expect. If an employee is driving please cover them. there is no minimum, 10%-20% is customary. For private groups with a deposit we may apply the deposit towards the drivers gratuity. We did our utmost to make this policy agreeable and fair and hope you feel the same!
